Creative strategy for 8–9 figure DTC brands

Meta ads shouldn’t feel like a blind gamble. I stack the odds in your favor.

Meta is like a casino.

A good creative strategist might get a few wins… but eventually it goes straight back to the house (Zuckerberg).

A GREAT creative strategist? That’s where you see 100x the results in your ad account (i.e. the JACKPOT 💰)

See, every ad is a bet on customer insight.

No amount of competitor swiping or AI prompting gets you inside your customer’s head.

You gotta do that the old-fashioned way…

Because THAT is where the wins are made.

So when your best ad gets tired, we’re not betting like a 21-year-old on his first casino run.

We’ve been watching the table…

We know what’s paid off…

What hasn’t…

And where to place the next bet.

Here’s how I keep stacking the odds in your favor.

  1. Built on direct response

Trained by direct response heavyweights behind $1B+ in sales. Four of them still review my work, so every ad gets a second set of expert eyes.

  2. Fluent in advertorials

Holding attention for thousands of words is a different skill from writing a hook. My advertorials take your cold traffic and microwave it until it’s HOT and ready to buy.

  3. Made to slot into your team

No new agency to manage. I work alongside your in-house team and turn test results into clear briefs, so they always know what to make next, and why.

I’ve put this approach to work for $10M+ brands.

Here’s what it looks like

Selected work

Ways to work with me

Bring me onto your team, or start with a single test.

Not ready for a partnership? Start with a test.

Beat your best ad

I start with deep customer research, then write three new hooks and produce them as finished UGC, b-roll, or animation ads, stitched onto your winner and ready to launch.

7-day head-to-head test. You only pay if one of mine wins.

Beat your best advertorial

Send me your best-performing advertorial. I’ll write a full challenger from deep customer research, and we split-test them. Mine wins if it lowers your cost per purchase.

14-day head-to-head test. You only pay if mine wins.

Coffee Back Guarantee seal

Both tests come with a coffee-back guarantee. If what I send doesn’t beat yours, you don’t pay a thing, and I’ll send you a $100 gift card to your favorite coffee shop. The only rule is it can’t be Starbucks.

The Mirrorball Method™

Every facet reflects a part of your customer: a frustration, a desire, an emotional entry point. I catch those details and turn them into creative that mirrors them back so perfectly they can’t look away.

  1. Read the room

Reddit threads, comment sections, competitor reviews, Facebook groups. I pick up on what people want, what they’re tired of, and what nobody seems to understand.

  2. Split the light

I reflect what I’ve learned through different angles, formats, and creative directions. I use AI to organize the findings and speed up production. I choose what’s worth pursuing and shape how it comes to life.

  3. Light up the feed

The creative catches the eye and makes people recognize themselves. Then I use performance data to see what’s connecting, sharpen what works, and find the next direction worth testing.

In their words

When I first met Leilani, I knew within just a matter of minutes that she was somebody that I wanted to partner with. She had a complete handle on our business and everything that she could add to our marketing strategy. She was always very responsive and very easy to work with. In terms of performance and revenue, everything changed dramatically with Leilani’s guidance… And at the end of the day, she was able to drive tens of thousands in revenue.

We have a winner we selected from your three. They all did well and this one pulled out front. I moved the winner to a CostCap campaign as it was getting volume.

You’re in the lead! V2 is showing strong ROAS, and all are converting.

Intro is killer! Great pattern interrupt and visual hook. This one is gonna crush in my opinion, it’s probably my favourite of all. These are all solid, if at least one doesn’t win then I’ll be surprised.

You do good work. I feel like I am a unique individual and you got me. Nailed my voice. Means you are excellent at your job.

Three reasons not to work with me

  1. You care more about “pretty” ads than ads that sell.

Some of my best creative has been called “ugly” by designers and “why is this working?” by media buyers. I’m happy to keep disappointing the designers.

  2. You expect every ad to win.

There will be losers. I’ll dig into why they lost and use it to make the next round smarter. No losers means I’m not testing enough.

  3. You wouldn’t recommend your own product in the family group chat.

I can squeeze performance hard, but I need to feel good about what happens after someone clicks “buy.” Conviction shows up in the copy.

Fair questions

What kinds of brands do you work with?

Ecom and DTC brands with strong product-market fit and the ambition to scale.

I’ve worked across a wide range of niches, including some of the tougher corners of DTC: health, wellness, and fitness tech. These categories combine skeptical buyers, crowded markets, and strict compliance requirements.

Working within those constraints has sharpened my ability to turn customer insight into creative that earns attention and converts. That’s the thinking I bring to your brand, whatever the category.

Can you own the creative process from research through production?

Yes. I own the strategy and creative direction, turning customer research and performance insights into a clear plan for what to make, why we’re testing it, and how to execute it.

Your editors and creators get concepts, scripts, and briefs they can run with. I stay involved through production to make sure the thinking translates into the finished ad, then work with your media buyer to use the results to guide the next round.

I can also produce statics and select AI video ads myself, depending on the scope. The partnership is built around giving your team clear direction and filling the creative gaps where I’m most useful.

We’ve already tested hundreds of ads. How would you find something new?

That testing history gives me a head start. I look at what’s worked, what hasn’t, and most importantly, why. A promising angle can get buried by a weak hook or the wrong execution.

Then I compare what’s been tested with what customers are saying in reviews, communities, and conversations with your brand, alongside what’s gaining traction in competitor ads and organic content. I’m looking for buying motivations, objections, and customer groups the creative hasn’t fully explored, plus ways to build on what’s already resonating.

That gives us two places to grow: proven ideas with more potential, and net new directions grounded in customer insight. Each test has a reason behind it, and the results sharpen what comes next.

What’s included in a fractional creative strategy partnership?

Every partnership is tailored to your brand, your goals, and the team you already have. I own the strategy behind your Meta creative, with the mix of deliverables built around where you need the most support.

Here’s what that looks like:

  • Ongoing customer and competitor research to find net new angles, unanswered objections, and opportunities your current ads aren’t touching.
  • Creative strategy and test plans so we know what we’re testing next, why it’s worth testing, and what we want to learn.
  • Concepts, hooks, UGC scripts, VSLs, and production briefs that give your team a clear direction to execute.
  • Finished AI video ads and statics that I take from initial concept through production and editing.
  • Advertorials and listicles that warm up cold traffic and build the case for your product.
  • Weekly performance reviews and post-test analysis to decide what gets killed, iterated, or scaled, and feed those findings into the next round.
  • Collaboration with your media buyer, designers, and editors to keep the strategy connected to what’s being produced and how it’s performing.

Some clients need briefs their team can run with. Others need me to produce finished creative, or a mix of both. We agree on the scope and volume upfront, then adjust priorities as we learn what your account needs.

Can we start with a test project?

Absolutely. You can start with new hooks to challenge your winning ad, or an advertorial to go up against your existing page.

It’s a focused way to see how I think, how we work together, and how the creative performs in your account before deciding on a fractional partnership. There’s no obligation to continue beyond the project.

How soon can we expect to see results?

I aim to start rolling out new creative in week two. Once it’s live, early signals can show up within a week, but meaningful conclusions depend on production speed, spend, traffic volume, and the offer.

For a fractional partnership, plan on at least three months to test different directions, build on winners, and put what we learn back into the account.

My priority is building a steady flow of well-informed tests that makes finding your next winner a more repeatable process.

What if your creative doesn’t outperform our current ads?

For the standalone hook and advertorial tests, you only pay if my work beats your control. If it doesn’t, you owe me nothing, and I’ll send you a $100 gift card to your favorite coffee shop.

We agree on the comparison, success metric, and testing conditions upfront, so we both know what counts as a win.

For fractional partnerships, not every ad will be a winner. My responsibility is to investigate what fell short, decide what’s worth refining, and turn those findings into sharper testing decisions. The goal is to build a growing roster of winners that gives your account more room to scale.

Let’s give your best ads some competition.

Bring your brand and your biggest creative roadblock. We’ll map out a creative strategy around your goals and start stacking the odds in your favor.
